The atmosphere of the restaurant was just a typical neighborhood bar with a shic elevation. “ I got the Cordon Bleu, we also had Guacamole, BBQ Crispy Chicken, and Wings. Someone got Sweet Potato Fries as their side, and they were AMAZING, better than the regular Potato Fries, in my opinion. Overall, our food was flavored wonderfully. I enjoyed my chicken sandwich and how it was cooked as well as how nice and slightly lumpy the guacamole was. They have English and Spanish menu's. Although my Boyfriend speaks spanish, which made it very convenient through our trip at some places; both of our waiters/waitresses knew a good amount of english (if that is something you care about). The place is pretty dim, but the decorations are very nice. They had the game playing while we were there as well. ---edit April 25th 2024--- Visting 11 months later, and we came here again, just as good as before! ”

“ We had the filet mignon, the sweetbreads and sweet potato. Honestly fantastic. Service was very friendly. We came at about 19:00 so it was empty and we had second thoughts. Glad we stuck with it. Steak was medium rare and perfect. Sweetbreads also really well cooked. Not only one of the best meals in Holbox, but one of the best steaks I have had, and I have been to a number of high-end steak restaurants. A little bit pricey compared to other restaurants in Holbox but the filet mignon is 500g and can serve two people. Worth every peso. The road it sits on is on the main square and is closed to traffic so you can just people watch. Banger. Highly recommend ”

The hidden gem of this place is Mike, his knowledge of mezcal and his selection provided a richer experience and understanding of what you are drinking. He also makes a mean cocktail!
